Wemic

I'm trying to work up a Wemic for my campaign; if you're not familiar, it's like centaur, but with lion parts instead of horse parts. I'd appreciate feedback on it!

Wemic
% in lair: 25%
Dungeon: Squad: 1d4+1 / Pride: 2d8 Squads
Wilderness: Squad / Pride
Alignment: N
Move: 150' / 50'
AC: 6
HD: 6
Att: 3
Dmg: 1d4+1 / 1d4+1 / by weapon +1
Save: F6
Morale: +1
TT: O
XP: 320

Wemics are a proud race primarily found in the plains of Lyonia. They have the torso and the head of men, and the body and hindquarters of a lion, with long, flowing blond hair. Wemic combatants typically wear a breastplate and wield spears or lance. Each squad is led by one Centurion, AC: 7, HD: 6+6, two additional damage. Each pride is led by a Legate, AC: 8, HD: 8, four additional damage per attack. In addition, there is a 50% of a cleric in each pride. The cleric has the stats of a centurion, but the abilities of a cleric of level 1d6. Occasionally, several prides will band together under a Dux, AC: 9, HD: 10, dmg: 1d6+4, +2 to attack throws.

Looks pretty good. Given the way centaurs are built, the wemic's AC (given partial plate armor) should probably be 7-8 instead of 5.

I went ahead and changed it to 6. They don't generally wear any sort of barding, and they're big and not particularly dextrous, so I don't think higher would make much sense? I want to see if I can't find someone else's write-up, either in the RC or 2e, to compare. And certainly if you wanted to model Wemic heavy cavalry, you could up the AC to reflect the provisioning of barding and shields.
