[HR] Drow Racial Build & Classes (WIP)

Description: Drow are black skinned and pale haired. They are slight of build and have long delicate fingers and toes. Their features are somewhat sharp and ears are pointed and large, but this does not make them unhandsome. Their eyes are very large, being all iris and pupil. Male drow are of thin build, reaching an average height of  5 1/2’ tall, have dead black skin and dead white hair, and the irises of their eyes are orange to orange-yellow. Females are slender and shapely, averaging about 5 3/4’  tall, and have glossy black skin and shining silvery hair. The eyes of female Drow are amber, though a few are said to possess irises of lambent violet.

Requirements: 

All Drow classes require a Minimum of Intelligence, wisdom and dexterity  of 9.

Drow 0: All Drow at Value 0 gain the following racial custom powers.

    - Infravision 120’: Due to the Drow civilization existing for centuries underground, dark elves have adapted with exceptional infravision.

    - Sensitivity to Stone and Rock: All Drow gain a +1 bonus to surprise rolls when underground. 

    - Drow Tongues: Drowic, Undercommon, Bugbear, Goblin. 

    - Dark Faerie Resilience: Drow benefit from the strong arcane bloodlines in their past. Drow have an additional +2 to save vs. spells. 

    - Light Sensitive- Drow are very sensitive to bright light. In the area of a light or continual light spell they suffer a -2 to all attack and saving throws.

    - Spell Abilities:  All the Dark Elves can use the following spells once per day: dancing lightsfaerie fire, and darkness. Those above 4th level are able to detect magic, and levitate once per day​

               

 

Custom Class Values:

Fighting Value: Dark Elves with restricted weapons selections will automatically receive the following weapons- Dagger, Sling and Staff. Further  they may choose either the Short Sword or the Hand Crossbow. Those with narrow or broad weapon selections will convert to a narrow weapon selection. Drow automatically receive: short sword & daggers. They may choose three of the following weapons: Composite Bow, Mace, Sling, Javelin, and Hand Crossbow.

Arcane Value: Any build points allocated to the Arcane Value stack with build points allocated to the Drow value for purposes of determining the class’s spellcasting ability (see below). Because of their innate magical power, the XP Cost for the Arcane Value is reduced by 125XP for Drow classes. 

Divine Value:Any build points allocated to the class’s Divine Value stack with build points allocated to the Drow value for purposes of determining the class’s divine spellcasting ability. Further Drow males may never exceed 1/2 divine value in any combination of Drow and Divine.
