The man-loving god of fire and protection. Also associated with nails, belts, and rivers.

The snake-loving god of music and destruction. Also associated with scrolls, spears, and bows.

The horse-loving god of chaos and darkness. Also associated with holes, fortresses, and the moon.

The snake-loving god of truth, death. Also associated with tongues, nails, and eggs.

I'll flesh these out in a bit, but they seem viable for now.

The cow-loving god of light and air. Also associated with axes, dice, and nails (finger/toe).

The fish-loving god of love and water. Also associated with mistakes, tongues, and loneliness.

The wolf-loving god of darkness and nature. Also associated with hair, the moon, and locks.

The cow-loving god of darkness and chaos. Also associated with teeth, hate, and tears.

I love how dice tell a story.

Note: I assume that at while most of the object-associations will be favorite things (Like Thor loves his hammers) sometimes they'll just be things that are mythically linked to the god (Like how chains might be a symbol of Prometheus, or how pomegranates are associated with Hades, or possibly an execution device could be linked to a famous martyr.)

This is useful. :)  Developing pantheons has always been a challenge for me. By categorizing these traits as you did, I can easily build the story.
