Thanks for the feedback, gentlemen. Auran Empire would be a very expensive product due to all the maps and artwork so it’s a necessity to Kickstart.
You are doubtless right that attitudes towards Kickstarter are changing.
I would participate in kickstarter for both products, now that I’ve discovered Autarch. Is there any maps of the Auran Empire, Jutland, Kemish, and the other nations. posted anywhere?

The only published map is that of the continent of Aurepos, roughly paralleling our own Mediterranean.
Where can I get a copy of that map?

Between L&E and Auran Empire I’m more interested in Auran Empire. Unless I’m missing something special (Lord knows that’s possible) about L&E I think I’ve got enough sources for monsters and small monsters.
Settings to either run a campaign in, or steal mercilessly from are of more use to me.
Its all good, I found a copy on Google Documents.
So…I just got the email with the final pdf for Domains. Dwimmermount is also finished (ish?). By my count that means all your kickstarters are done.

Personally I’m a little more excited for L&E than the auran empire setting, but judging by the thread about thief skills and powerful spells, it seems like Alex is riffing on heroic ACKs the hardest. Such is the purview of the independent designer, though, he gets to work on what he finds most interesting 
Oh, I’ve been working on Lairs & Encounters, too! Don’t worry. Everything is proceeding according to plan*.
*With the exception of James Malizeswki’s departure, Tavis Allison’s twins, 2 year delay on Dwimmermount, 9 month delay on Domains at War, achievement of Guns of War bonus goal, and arrival of D&D 5th Edition.
But otherwise, everything’s okay, right? Right?!

Wait, what?
As a late bonus goal to Domains at War, we wooed Lamentations of the Flame Princess players by offering to write a separate supplement called Guns of War, with rules for gunpowder. It funded, so I had to write it.
Sadly my knowledge of the Early Modern Era is not as robust as my knowledge of the Ancient and Medieval Eras, so it’s been a toughie.
Kickstarter’s a funny beast these days. It does seem the most successful kickstarters rely on the reputation the producer has generated from successful delivery of previous kickstarters, but that such successful producers have a tendency to get bogged down in stretch goals, which ultimately slows product release a lot.
I would probably back either or both of L&E and AE, though. I expect L&E would provide me with more useful automation-fodder, though… 
Have a look at the Renaissance RPG (a BRP derivative) which might give you some ideas. Also, Pete Cakebread and Ken Walton (the authors) are top draw gentlemen who I’m sure would be more than willing to help.
